What is the FTSE A50 Index?
Hello, FTSE China A50 Index was compiled by FTSE Index at 1999. It is a real-time tradable index compiled by FTSE Russell Index, one of the four largest index companies in the world, to meet the needs of domestic investors in China and qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII).

The FTSE China A50 Index includes 50 companies with the largest market capitalization in China A-share market, and their total market capitalization accounts for 33% of the total market capitalization of A-shares. It is the most representative index of China A-share market, and many international investors regard it as an accurate indicator to measure the China market.

This index, like ordinary stocks, is updated every day, reflecting the A-share market: if the index goes up, it can be judged that the China market is good, otherwise there is something wrong with the market development.
