Event: Emperor of Wei King Wei Hui sent Pang Juan, the grand prize winner, to find a partner to defeat South Korea. It was a smooth journey, but Xinzheng, the capital of South Korea, was surrounded.

The Korean Emperor Han Zhaohou was so afraid that he asked Qi for help. Then Qi sent general Tian Ji, two deputy generals, and lame military advisor Sun Bin to help others, but they did not go there. Xinzheng rescued the siege, but according to the lame man's wishes, he ran all the way to the vicinity of Daliang, the capital of Wei.

King Hui of Wei was so frightened that he wet his pants, so he urgently called Pang Juan back to support him. This was to encircle Wei and save Zhao.

King Hui of Wei felt unhappy, so he asked Pang Juan to kill the people of Qi. Seeing that Sun Bin had a large family, he ordered the army to retreat to Maling. For three consecutive days, he dug as many earth stoves as possible for cooking every day. The continuous decrease gave Pang Juan the illusion that his number was constantly decreasing. Then Lao Pang chased desperately and finally arrived at Maling when it was dark. He lit a fire to illuminate the road. When he saw a big tree with its bark peeled off, he wrote: "Pang Juan died." "Under this tree", he suddenly realized that he had been tricked, he could not retreat in time, and he shot arrows randomly. Lao Pang drew out his sword and cut himself down. This was the Battle of Maling.
