On July 5, 2008, on the night I arrived in Foguang Mountain in Kaohsiung, I attended the Foguang Mountain Reading Club under the guidance of Master Xing Yun: "Zidexiang in 2008-Reading Character".

The solemn Tathagata Hall was packed, and even the corridors were full of scholars, with a total of about a thousand people. I have never seen a book club of this scale. With my shallow knowledge, it should only appear in China of Ming Dynasty, where lectures flourished. I asked the master for advice, only to know that such a large-scale reading meeting is the tradition of Foguang Mountain. In a few days, Buddhists from all over the world will gather on the mountain to exchange their reading experiences and study together.
Today's reading meeting was hosted by master Jue Pei, who is the same age as me. I thought Master Juepei was much younger than me. Today, I was surprised to find that she was the same age as me. At the same time, I also learned about Buddhism. ...
