Dalian historical materials
6000 years ago, our ancestors developed Dalian. When the Xia Dynasty was founded, although Dalian was vast and sparsely populated, it was deeply influenced by its close ties with Shandong Peninsula.

The third generation king of Shang Dynasty moved from Liaodong to Shangqiu, Henan Province, and began to enter the Bronze Age. Out of nostalgia for his hometown, he traveled between Liaoning and Henan, and opened a route from Penglai to Dalian, which made the economic and cultural exchanges between Dalian and the northern coastal areas of Shandong increasingly prosperous.

About17th century BC, the summer died out in Shang Tang. By the time of Di Xin, Dalian's society had changed from a regional organization to a square country. The wheel pottery unearthed from Shuangtuozi site in Jinyingchengzi area proves the influence of Shandong Yueshi culture on Dalian.

At the end of Shang Dynasty and the beginning of Zhou Dynasty, there were many stone sheds in Dalian today, which was the most widely distributed, complete and numerous area in Liaodong Peninsula. Most of them are located on hills near rivers, including 7 stone sheds at 18 and 38 small and medium-sized stone sheds, which are mainly distributed in Jinzhou District, Pulandian, Wafangdian and Zhuanghe.
