Generally, the prediction of outburst danger in working face adopts the indicators of drilling cuttings gas analysis (△h2 and k 1), the amount of drilling cuttings (S) and the initial degree of gas emission from borehole (Q). △h2 and k 1 can be said to be an index, which can be calculated by formulas. △h2 was determined by MD-2 developed by Fushun, and K 1 was determined by WTC developed by Chongqing. The amount of drilling cuttings is measured by the spring scale developed by the ancients, Q is measured by TWY, developed by the former Soviet Union and improved by Chongqing.
