Altiumdesigner is an upgraded version of protel, and one of its new functions is to generate Gerber files. The method is as follows:

1. Set the origin

The origin of 1. is set in the lower left corner of PCB.

Two. File export

1. Turn on the GerberFiles option.

Three. Parameter setting

1. Select unit: inch and Format: 2: 5 in General;

2. Select the required layer in Layers. Double panels include: GTO, GTS, GTL, GBL, GBS, GBO and GKO. (7 pieces). Do not check the option on the right, and select "alloff" for the mirror layer;

3. Keep the default settings in Drilling Drawing;

4. Keep the default settings in Aperture;

5. In the Advanced option:

Filesize does not move, and the default value is taken;

Leading/trailingzeros: Select supressleadingzero to omit the leading 0.

Positiononfilm: Select referencetorelativeorigin to use the relative coordinate origin.

6. Other default values are also acceptable.

Click the OK button, and the Gerber file will be output (the PCB file is built under the PCB project and will be automatically saved in the output folder).

Four. Drilling file export

1. select "NCDrillDrawing"

2. Set the drilling file options and click OK.

3. The following dialog box appears, confirm the formatting in the blue selected area, and then click OK.

4. Generate drilling file XXXX. TXT(XXXX is named after PCB).

5. The file \ ... \ example \ Projectoutputsforcb _ project1contains the light drawing file required for PCB processing.
