How to import data points under proe?
Points are drawn into lines, and lines form faces. And coordinate points can be drawn as lines by creating ibl files. Then the surface is drawn by blending the drawn lines through the boundary.

When establishing ibl file, spline curve can be drawn by point coordinates, and then rubber tube can be drawn by scanning. Create a new txt file using Notepad and write the following. The file format is as follows:

open

radian length

Start part!

Starting curve

1 2 0 3

2 1 6 2

3 2 5 7

4 3 - 1 0

5 4 8 6

1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 is the point number (the first number in each group), followed by the coordinate values of x, y, z, y and z in turn.

(i.e. Cartesian coordinates)

After writing, you can save the file and change the extension txt to ibl. If the file extension in txt format is not displayed, double-click My Computer//Tools//Folder Options//File Type //txt Text Document//Advanced//Always display the extension (check) and confirm. Finally, change the built text extension TXT to ibl and save it. Insert datum curve from file in PROE///Select coordinates//Select finished ibl file to complete curve drawing.
