1, global coal supply situation
-Output growth failed to sustain.
Coal is the most abundant and widely distributed conventional energy in the world, and it is also the cheapest energy. Since 2 1 century, with the increasing concern about global climate change, countries have accelerated the adjustment of energy structure, and many developed countries have gradually adopted clean energy to replace coal energy consumption, so the increase of coal supply no longer shows a unilateral upward trend.
In recent years, the global coal output shows a fluctuating trend. From 20 17 to 20 19, the global coal output maintained a sustained growth. In 2020, affected by the epidemic, the global coal production growth could not be continued, with a total output of 7.742 billion tons, down 4.8% year-on-year.
-Coal supply outshines others in China.
From the perspective of regional composition, at present, the Asia-Pacific region is the main coal producing area in China, accounting for more than 70% of the global coal production. In 2020, the coal output in the Asia-Pacific region will be 5.879 billion tons, accounting for 75.9% of the global total output; The coal output in North America is 536.5438 billion tons, accounting for 6.9% of the global total output; The coal output in CIS region is 525 million tons, accounting for 6.8% of the global total output; The coal production in Europe is 479 million tons, accounting for 6.2% of the global total.
Specific to the country, in 2020, the top ten countries in the world will produce 765,438+52 million tons of coal, accounting for 92.38% of the global total output. Among them, China's coal output far exceeds that of other countries, China's coal output is 3.902 billion tons, and the sum of the second to tenth coal output is not as good as that of China.
2. Global coal consumption
-Coal consumption will hit a ten-year low in 2020.
Since 20 14, global coal consumption has entered a downward channel, showing a downward trend. In 2020, the global coal consumption continued to decline, with the total consumption of 157.64 Ejiao, down 3.9% year-on-year, hitting a new low in the last decade.
-China leads the world in coal consumption.
From the perspective of regional composition, at present, the Asia-Pacific region is the main coal consumption place in the world, accounting for more than 80% of the global coal consumption. In 2020, the coal consumption in the Asia-Pacific region will be 120.97 Ejiao, accounting for 80.1%of the global total consumption; The coal consumption in North America is 9.9 1 Ejiao, accounting for 6.6% of the global total consumption; European coal consumption is 9.40 aijiao, accounting for 6.2% of the global total output.
As far as countries are concerned, the demand for coal in Asian countries, led by China, is still at a high level. In 2020, the top ten countries in the world will consume 130.56 aijiao of coal, accounting for 86.22% of the total global consumption. Only the United States is not in Asia among the top four countries. China's coal consumption far exceeds that of other countries. The coal consumption of China is 82.27 aijiao, and the sum of the coal consumption of the second to tenth places is still less than that of China.
