What is the export tariff of aluminum ingots in China in 2022?
In the first two months of 2022, aluminum ingots were mainly exported from bonded warehouses.

According to the latest data released by China Customs, in the first two months of 2022, China exported unwrought non-alloy aluminum 1 10,000 tons, up1.833% year-on-year; Exports were mainly concentrated in February, and the monthly export volume was 1 10,000 tons, up 236 1% year-on-year.

The unwrought unalloyed aluminum exported in the first two months includes:

China restricts the export of ordinary aluminum ingots, and the provisional export tax rate is15%; There are no restrictions on the export of refined aluminum and high-purity aluminum, and the provisional export tax rate is 0%.

Judging from the way of trade, the ordinary aluminum ingots exported in the first two months are not domestic aluminum ingots, but overseas aluminum ingots imported from abroad and stored in bonded warehouses. Since 2022, although the price of aluminum in foreign countries has risen more than that in China, the export window of electrolytic aluminum in China has not been opened under the restriction of 15% export tariff according to the price relationship and exchange rate level at home and abroad in the previous two months.

Judging from the current inventory of bonded warehouses, the export volume of unwrought non-alloy aluminum may increase significantly in March.
