09MnNiDR is a low temperature steel with body-centered cubic crystal. The main performance requirement of low temperature steel is to ensure sufficient toughness and brittle failure resistance at the service temperature. In order to ensure low-temperature toughness, the carbon content in low-temperature steel should be reduced as much as possible, the contents of S and P should be strictly limited, and some alloying elements should be added. Manganese and nickel are two main elements to improve the toughness of steel. Mn refines the structure of steel, which can reduce the cementite at the grain boundary after slow cooling, thus improving the toughness of steel; Ni makes the matrix itself easy to cross and slip at low temperature, which improves the toughness.

Use of 6,09 09MnNiDR

09MnNiDR steel is a low temperature steel with ferrite and a little pearl. Because of its low carbon content, it belongs to low alloy structural steel, and manganese and nickel are its main alloys. Mn mainly improves the strength of steel through solution strengthening, while Ni can improve the low-temperature toughness of ferrite and obviously reduce the cold-brittle transition temperature. Its carbon equivalent is less than or equal to 0.44, its hardening tendency is small, it is not easy to form cold cracks, and the weld has good plasticity and toughness, so preheating is usually not needed. When the plate thickness exceeds a certain thickness, the joint stiffness is limited or the carbon equivalent is high, preheating should be considered. However, the preheating temperature should not be too high, otherwise the grains in the heat affected zone will grow and oxides will be precipitated at the grain boundaries. Therefore, the weld energy and interlayer temperature should be controlled during welding, and heat treatment should be carried out after welding to eliminate stress.

7. Mechanical properties

The sampling position of mechanical properties shall comply with gb/t2975. For steel plates with a thickness greater than 40 mm, the axis of the impact specimen should be located at a quarter of the thickness.

The packaging, marks and quality certificates of steel plates shall comply with the provisions of gb/t247.
