"Stock index futures": Who should not go through the formalities of stock index futures account?
The so-called futures account refers to the margin account (also called "trading account" or "fund account") opened in a futures company for futures trading. Opening an account is essentially a legal relationship between investors and futures companies. The futures account is completely free.

According to the existing regulations of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, under any of the following circumstances, it shall not become a customer of a futures company to engage in stock index futures trading:

(1) State organs and institutions;

(2) Staff of the China Securities Regulatory Commission and its dispatched offices, futures exchanges, futures margin depository monitoring institutions and futures industry associations;

(3) It is forbidden to enter the securities and futures markets.

(4) Units that cannot provide proof of account opening;

(five) other units and individuals prohibited from engaging in futures trading as stipulated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. For example, futures companies and futures practitioners cannot open futures accounts, but securities practitioners can.

Some investors will ask, don't some securities companies have IB qualifications, and I happen to trade stocks in the business department of this securities company, so can I use the stock account of this securities company to directly make stock index futures? The answer is no! Shareholders cannot trade stock index futures in the original stock account, but only through the futures account of the futures company. Therefore, it is necessary to reopen a futures account dedicated to futures speculation in the business department of a futures company or an IB-qualified securities company.

Futures account stock index includes three stages: finding a suitable futures company, opening an account and recording trading funds.
