What does credit mean?
Credit granting means that banks provide a certain amount of financial support to enterprises or individuals within a certain period of time according to their financial credit status and turnover needs. Credit generally appears in loans, acceptance, discount, bills, letters of credit and other businesses. Credit granting has the following characteristics.

First, the credit line is the sum of several types of credit lines. Not just loans. For example, an enterprise can borrow 200 million yuan, open a bank acceptance bill of 200 million yuan and open a letter of credit 1 100 million yuan, so the total credit line of this enterprise is 500 million yuan.

Second, credit granting is timely and dynamic in a certain period of time. For example, the annual acceptance limit of the above-mentioned enterprises is 200 million. Assuming that the enterprise does not need to pay a deposit when issuing a bank acceptance bill, the enterprise issued an acceptance bill of 200 million yuan in the first three months, occupying the acceptance credit line. After half a year, these acceptance bills expire and are accepted one after another, so the enterprise has an open credit line and can issue new acceptance bills.

Third, the credit limit can be changed and improved. The credit line provided by banks will change with the national and local industrial policies and the strength and scale of customers. Enterprises and individuals can increase credit lines by providing more financial certificates and mortgaged assets.
