The mining area has a tropical maritime monsoon climate, and the residents are a mixture of Li and Han residents.

From March 2006 to October 2011, the Hainan Provincial Comprehensive Geological Survey Institute carried out exploration work. The type of mineral being explored was lead-zinc ore, and the level of work was detailed investigation. The exploration funds were approximately 21 million yuan.

Metal content: 34,286 tons of lead, 82,739 tons of zinc, and 117,027 tons of lead + zinc, accounting for 42.89%, 34.48%, and 36.58% of the metal content of lead, zinc, and lead + zinc respectively; proven sub-marginal economic resources (2S21) ore The amount is 372,000 tons, accounting for 2.16% of the total ore amount. The metal amount is: 520 tons of lead, 1808 tons of zinc, and 2328 tons of lead + zinc, accounting for 0.65%, 0.75%, and 0.73 of the metal amounts of lead, zinc, and lead + zinc respectively. %; the controlled sub-marginal economic resources (2S22) ore volume is 5.8715 million tons, accounting for 34.06% of the total ore volume, and the metal volume: lead 11,010 tons, zinc 25,034 tons, lead + zinc 36,042 tons, accounting for lead, zinc, 13.77%, 10.43%, and 11.27% of lead + zinc metal content. The average ore grade in the entire mining area is: lead 0.46%, zinc 1.39%. The ore volume of the V1 main ore body accounts for 50.53% of the entire mining area, and the lead and zinc metal volume accounts for 53.16% of the entire area. In addition, the amount of associated copper metal was found to be 8,552 tons, with an average grade of 0.25%; the amount of associated silver metal was 121,757 kilograms, with an average grade of 11.07×10-6. The deposit reaches medium size. The genetic type of the deposit is a medium-low temperature hydrothermal fluid-filled metasomatic lead-zinc deposit controlled by fault structures.
