Intermediate business of commercial banks
Intermediary business is divided into risk-free intermediary business and risk intermediary business. Risk-free business includes settlement, agency, consulting and credit card business, while risk business includes guarantee business, commitment business and business related to interest rate and exchange rate.

According to the division of the Basel Committee, the intermediary business of banks can be divided into four categories:

1. Various underwriting services provided by commercial banks. The main contents include repayment of loans, performance of contracts, acceptance bills, standby letters of credit, etc.

2. Loan commitment. There are mainly loan limits, expenditure limits, reserve loan commitments and revolving loan commitments;

3. Financial instruments to create new business. It mainly includes financial futures commodities, futures rights and services, and the exchange of commodities, currencies and interest rates.

4. Pass on the business information of China. Including settlement, agency, trust, leasing, insurance management, consulting and other businesses.
