Tungsten steel is an alloy material with WC and Co powder as the main raw materials, which is mixed, pressed and sintered by a series of processing techniques of powder metallurgy. It has the characteristics of high hardness, high strength, corrosion resistance and rust prevention, and is widely used to manufacture key parts with high precision and high wear resistance in hardware, machinery, chemical industry, national defense and other industries. The density of tungsten steel materials for different purposes is not consistent, or it can be said that tungsten steel materials with different densities have different uses. Please pay attention when buying.
Matters needing attention in cutting and grinding tungsten steel
1, tungsten steel is prone to crack and corner collapse under impact and excessive processing load, and cemented carbide must be firmly fixed on the workbench before processing.
2. The magnetism of tungsten steel is extremely low, and the nonmagnetic cemented carbide has no magnetism at all. Do not use magnets to fix cemented carbide, but use fixtures to fix it. Before machining, please confirm whether the workpiece is loose again. If so, please fix the workpiece until it is firm.
3. After cutting and grinding, the machined surface of tungsten steel will be smooth and sharp. Please pay attention to safety when handling and using.
