TAPOs are designed for a fixed period of time. For the average price option of LME trading, it is based on the monthly settlement price (MASP). These options automatically terminate at the end of the pricing period, and the profitable TAPOs is converted into two futures contracts with equal quantity and opposite directions, one of which is the monthly settlement price and the other is the initial finalization.
