Xi University of Architecture and Technology, referred to as Xi Jianda for short, is located in Xi 'an, the ancient capital. Established jointly by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, People's Republic of China (PRC), Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Ministry of Education. It is one of the "Old Eight Schools of Architecture" in China, a key university directly under the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, a national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Colleges and Universities in the Midwest", a national "Key Discipline Project with Characteristics", and a provincial university in Shaanxi Province.

The school can be traced back to Beiyang University as early as 1895. 1956 When the departments of colleges and universities in China were adjusted for the third time, the school was formed by the merger of four departments of architecture, civil engineering and municipal administration, namely Northeast Institute of Technology, Northwest Institute of Technology, Qingdao Institute of Technology and Sunan Institute of Technology, and was named Xi 'an Institute of Architecture and Engineering. 1959 and 1963 were renamed Xi 'an Institute of Metallurgy and Xi 'an Institute of Metallurgy and Architecture. 1994 in March, with the approval of the former State Education Commission, it was renamed as Xi University of Architecture and Technology.

Discipline construction: As of May 20 18, there are 3 national key disciplines, 8 provincial key disciplines 18, 7 post-doctoral mobile stations, 9 first-class doctoral programs, 3/KLOC-0 doctoral programs in two disciplines, 25 first-class master programs and 95 master programs in two disciplines. The master's program basically covers all undergraduate majors in the school.

The qualification examination for futures practitioners is an entry examination for futures practitioners and a national qualification examination. The examination is supervised and guided by China Securities Regulatory Commission, sponsored by China Futures Association and specifically undertaken by ATA Company.
