Can non-financial majors apply for the futures qualification examination?
Non-financial majors can apply for the futures qualification examination. The futures qualification examination is supervised and guided by China Securities Regulatory Commission, sponsored by China Futures Association and specifically undertaken by ATA Company. It's an entry exam for futures industry access. According to the relevant regulations of China Futures Association, there is no requirement for candidates' majors in the futures qualification examination. Candidates can take the examination as long as they meet the four basic conditions stipulated by China Futures Association.

Requirements for futures qualification examination:

(1) at least 18 years old;

(2) Having full capacity for civil conduct;

(3) Have a high school education or above;

(4) Other conditions stipulated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

Requirements for futures investment analysis examination:

(1) at least 18 years old;

(2) Having full capacity for civil conduct;

(3) Obtaining a certificate of qualification examination for futures practitioners;

(4) Having a bachelor's degree or above or studying for a bachelor's degree;

(5) Other conditions stipulated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
