What does the smallest unit of change in futures mean?
The minimum change unit in futures refers to the minimum range of each quotation change, and the number of price fluctuations is an integer multiple of the minimum change unit.

At present, China's futures trading is divided into commodity futures and financial futures, taking the minimum change unit as an example:

Commodity futures:

Take soybean meal futures listed on Dalian Commodity Exchange as an example. The minimum change price of soybean meal futures is 1 yuan, and the price change of soybean meal futures shall not be less than 1 yuan each time. If the current price is 2500 yuan, then the next quotation may be 2499 or 250 1, or it may be lower than 2499 or higher than 250 1 because of great market changes.

Financial futures:

Take the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 stock index futures listed by CICC as an example. The maximum variable unit of stock index futures is 0.2 points, and the variable unit of stock index futures cannot be less than 0.2 points at each quotation. For example, the previous issue refers to 5200 points, and the next issue may be 5 199.8 or 5200.2. Due to great market changes, the next quotation is lower than 565,438+099.8 or higher than 5,200.2.
