The currency unit "Guan" was only used in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. The circulation unit of copper coins began to be calculated in "Wen". A small copper coin is called a Wen, and 1,000 copper coins strung together are called a Guan. money. This counting method continued until the early years of the Song Dynasty. Later, due to the parallel use of copper and iron coins, as well as the emergence of Zheer and Shushi coins, the Song Dynasty once set the Guanqian currency at 770 Wen. In the Qing Dynasty, Guanqian was also called a sling of money, and it began to stipulate that "a sling of a thousand qian, a half sling of 500 yuan".

In other words, in the Han and Tang Dynasties before the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, there was no unit of "Guan".
