Ethereum Community Fund (ECF) is a non-profit organization. The original idea was to give bonuses to community projects, support early incubation projects and support research. Then in 20 18, OmiseGO, Dummy, Status, MakerDAO, Web3(polkadot), Cosmos and EF (Ethereum Fund) were established as consultants in Tokyo.

ECF 2.0 is an upgraded version of ECF with two core objectives:

Coordinate community relations through various harmonious ways, such as bonuses, strategic and business support and community activities.

In order to become an open fund network, ECF emphasizes its original vision, that is, to form a network with various funds to jointly realize support and contribution to the community.

In addition, the upgrade of ECF 2.0 will not only support non-profit infrastructure projects, educational programs and industrial community activities, but also support the development of applications and tools and even commercial projects.
