One is hanging directly on the exchange (pure trading software is like this). Only during the opening trading hours will the pending orders enter the exchange server. The other is the so-called cloud pending order (non-exchange pending order). You can wait for the pending order at any time, but your pending order only hangs on the server of the third-party software and does not enter the exchange. You need a third-party server to trigger it and enter the exchange.
