How to apply for futures qualification certificate?
Candidates who take the futures qualification examination and engage in futures business after passing all the examination subjects shall apply for the futures qualification certificate from the China Futures Association through their institutions. Note that individuals cannot apply for the futures qualification certificate.
Specific process:
1. The applicant logs on the website of China Futures Association, downloads and prints the Qualification Application Form, and submits it to the institution together with a copy of my ID card, a copy of my academic certificate or relevant supporting documents and other materials specified by the Association.
2. The agency shall review the application materials submitted by the applicant, enter the qualification database, and submit the application to the Association online.
3. China Futures Association shall review the qualification application materials submitted by intermediaries, and may require intermediaries to submit relevant certification materials when necessary. After receiving the application materials submitted by the organization, the association will complete the review within 20 working days.
4. For the applicants who fail to pass the exam, the Association will inform their institutions and explain the reasons.
5. The Association will publicize the applicants who have passed the examination in official website.
How long is the validity period of the futures qualification certificate?
The futures qualification certificate is valid for a long time, but in any of the following circumstances, the certificate will be cancelled.
The resignation or death will be cancelled by the association through the application for certification by the unit. Of course, the qualification of illegal securities and futures will be revoked.
Those who have obtained the certificate of qualification examination for futures business or whose qualifications have been cancelled, who have not worked in institutions for two consecutive years, shall participate in the follow-up vocational training with accumulated hours of not less than 18 hours within two years before applying for qualification, and pass the training assessment. Among them, the training hours of futures laws and regulations and professional ethics of futures practitioners are not less than 3 hours.
