The forest tastes as fresh as wine.
The bells and the fragrance of pine and cypress
Wandering in the dust
Sleeping trees and stone walls
And a wall extending through it.
Turn this lonely city
Go to sleep.
City of gold, city of bronze
Jerusalem is full of light.
I use my piano sound.
Eternal song for you
This is a song sung in a natural voice in triple time. The songwriter is not Williams, but Naomi Shemer, a Jewish composer, and this ode sung in Hebrew is not written for this film. "Jincheng Jerusalem" first appeared in the film Pour Sacha co-produced by France and Israel in 199 1. With simple melody and pious feelings, this ode expresses the incomparable reverence and infinite hope of the Jewish people for the golden city of Jerusalem. In Schindler's List, for composer john williams, it is also the cornerstone of music creation-the leading power of Schindler's theme comes from the first paragraph of this chorus. It is on this short motive of five degrees that the composer created all the passionate music of the film Schindler List.
