Emulsion polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (EPSBR) is the largest amount of synthetic rubber, and its products are divided into two categories: general varieties and special varieties. Common varieties are 1000, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800,1900 *, and there are hundreds of brands. Special varieties include liquid styrene-butadiene rubber, high styrene styrene-butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber and carboxyl styrene-butadiene rubber.

SBR- 1500 is the most typical pollution-free soft emulsion polystyrene rubber. Its raw rubber has excellent adhesiveness and processability, and its vulcanized rubber has good wear resistance, tensile strength, tear strength and aging resistance. SBR- 1500 is widely used in products with carbon black as reinforcing agent and low color requirements, such as tire tread, tread compound, conveyor belt, rubber hose, molded products and extruded products.

SBR- 1502 is the most typical pollution-free soft emulsion polystyrene rubber. Its performance is equivalent to SBR- 1500, and it has good tensile strength, wear resistance and flexibility. SBR- 1502 is widely used in brightly colored and light colored rubber products, such as tire sidewalls, transparent rubber shoes, adhesive tapes, medical supplies and other general colored products.

SBR- 17 12 is a kind of pollution-free soft emulsion SBR filled with high aromatic oil, which has the advantages of excellent adhesion, wear resistance, processability and low price. SBR- 17 12 is widely used in passenger car tire tread compound, tire tread compound, conveyor belt, hose and general black rubber products.

The production technology of emulsion polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber gradually matured in the late 1920s of 19.
