What organization is GFA?
Global Finance Institute (GFA) is a non-profit organization initiated by some top professionals in the financial field. Its purpose is to provide a network for the global academic and financial industries to exchange knowledge and experience. The annual conference (GFC) sponsored by Global Finance Institute aims to provide a place for global financial academic researchers, financial practitioners, educators and government policy makers to exchange views and discuss issues of common concern.

Since the establishment of GFA, the Global Finance Conference has held eight annual meetings in Los Angeles, Chicago, Hawaii, San Diego, Monterey, Mexico City, Turkey, Istanbul and Canada. Every annual meeting, about 200 people from all walks of life submit academic papers and attend the meeting.
