The Financial Investment Association of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics was established in September 2002, with 500 registered members every year. It is the largest and most influential academic society in Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. The Association takes all its members as the highest principle, takes "leading, excellence and professionalism" as the spirit, and takes "being pragmatic, efficient and innovative" as the purpose to help its members establish a correct investment concept, improve their investment ability and broaden their financial horizons. The Financial Investment Association (FIA) of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics was established on September, 2002 18, and it is the largest and most influential academic association of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. The association operates independently under the guidance of the Finance Institute and the management of the Youth League Committee. The association is committed to spreading correct investment ideas and imparting reasonable investment skills to its members. The association has established extensive contacts and cooperation with banks and securities and futures companies such as Huatai Great Wall Futures, Huaxi Futures, Huatai Securities and China CITIC Bank, and maintained good relations with other student organizations in the school. The instructor of the Association is Professor Zhou Mingshan, Vice President of the School of Finance. In addition, the association insists on holding long-term training courses on financial knowledge every Monday, regularly invites professionals inside and outside the school to give large-scale "famous lectures" and regularly recommends members to practice in banks or securities and futures companies. The association participated in the reform planning of the school securities investment curriculum and the construction of the network finance sector in colleges and universities nationwide, and won the titles of "Star Club" of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, "Sichuan Star Club" and "National Excellent Club for College Students" for many times.
