Many riders who find the engine fault light on have a feeling that the engine fault light suddenly lights up after adding a box of oil. Because the engine has requirements for the quality index of engine oil, especially with the higher requirements of various specifications for the engine, the quality index of engine oil is getting higher and higher.

In real life, after all, some gas stations can't provide fuel that meets the requirements of high-performance engines in full accordance with the specifications, which leads to the engine fault light being lit from time to time.

3. If the engine cylinder is not clean and there is carbon deposit after a period of use, some carbon deposit will inevitably accumulate inside the engine. These carbon deposits themselves will lead to changes in engine design parameters, and at the same time, their properties are unstable, accumulating heat, leading to disorderly ignition of the engine, thus causing engine knocking. In this case, the engine fault light will light up.

1, clean the engine

Once the engine fault light is on, the owner should clean the engine in time. At present, there are two correct cleaning methods:

(1), go to the repair shop to clean the carbon deposit with a special cleaning agent.

(2) Clean the whole fuel system by yourself with good fuel additives, including removing carbon deposits in the cylinder.

2. Add premium gasoline.

After engine cleaning, because the compression ratio of automobile engines that meet the national emission standards is generally above 10.0, this kind of vehicle is not suitable for adding gasoline below 95 for a long time. In order to keep the engine in good working condition, the owner can choose to add 95 # or 97 # gasoline, which can usually solve the problem of engine fault light.
