School of Information Engineering, founded in 2000, has been committed to cultivating high-quality skilled IT talents who support the Party's basic line, can meet the demand of information technology application in the front line of production, construction, management and service, have all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, and have the advantages of "one skill" in information technology application and "one specialty with many functions and excellent academic performance".
After several years' construction, Information Engineering College has developed into a teaching department with strong teachers, reasonable structure, complete teaching facilities and certain teaching and scientific research level. At present, the department has five majors: computer application technology, software technology, computer network technology, computer information management and computer communication. Among them, computer network technology is a provincial specialty, computer application technology is a provincial key construction specialty, and software technology is a national high-skilled personnel training shortage specialty.
School of Information Engineering attaches great importance to specialty construction and teaching reform. In recent years, the computer department has focused on cultivating and improving students' comprehensive quality, professional ability and professional skills, optimizing the talent training scheme, actively exploring and practicing the teaching mode of "school-enterprise cooperation and work-study combination" suitable for the training of skilled professionals, and gradually formed the training mode of "one specialty and many functions" for computer specialty in higher vocational colleges.
School of Information Engineering constantly improves and implements various rules and regulations in teaching management. In the teaching reform, we pay attention to strengthening professional skills training, start with popularizing "case teaching method" and "project teaching method", carry out extensive teaching and research activities, and encourage teachers to boldly reform teaching content and teaching methods, which has achieved remarkable results. At present, our department has undertaken three educational reform projects in Zhejiang Province in the new century. Two courses were rated as provincial-level quality courses, 1 municipal-level quality courses, eight college-level quality courses and three provincial-level key construction textbooks. The computer technology training base was rated as a provincial demonstration construction base and a Shaoxing university student information technology innovation and entrepreneurship practice demonstration base.
Based on the educational concept of "people-oriented", the student work of Information Engineering College aims at cultivating skilled talents, takes student activities as a platform and combines professional characteristics to strengthen the construction of study style. Through scientific and technological activities, enhance students' innovative spirit and applied skills, and comprehensively improve students' comprehensive quality and vocational skills. College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was established in September, 2000. It has five majors: provincial specialty construction and municipal key specialty.
After years of construction, the college has formed a team of teachers with reasonable structure, rich teaching practice experience and rich scientific research experience, of which "double-qualified" teachers account for 60% and master students account for 80%.
Our college actively carried out the reform and practice of "order-based", "integration of production and learning" and "work-study" talent training mode, and formed a "step-by-step" skill training system combining professional basic training, special skill training and comprehensive production training; There are more than 20 professional skills training laboratories with advanced equipment and complete structure, such as electronic technology, mold disassembly, mechanical design, vehicle disassembly, numerical control processing and electronic product production bases, which meet the requirements of practical teaching and comprehensive training of students. There are 2,800 full-time students in the Department of Economic Management, with four majors: computerized accounting, e-commerce, financial management and practice, and community management and service. Computerized accounting and e-commerce are the key construction majors of the institute. At present, the whole department has built seven experimental training rooms, including computerized accounting simulation, e-commerce training and financial management training, with 280 teaching computers and 6 sets of professional training teaching software, with total assets exceeding one million yuan. Alibaba Education Co., Ltd., Bank of Communications, Shenzhen Zhiping Property, UFIDA Technology Co., Ltd. and many other well-known enterprises have become the off-campus training bases and second classrooms of the department.
According to the national orientation of talent training in higher vocational colleges and the school-running concept of "connecting four industries", we insist on carrying forward the excellent school spirit and study style with noble teachers' ethics, cultivate students' comprehensive quality and professional accomplishment of "being martial, determined, honest, excellent in character and learning, having both ability and political integrity", and devote ourselves to training high-quality skilled economic talents with solid theoretical knowledge and strong practical ability for enterprises and institutions based on Shaoxing, facing Zhejiang and radiating the "Yangtze River Delta" region. In the teaching process of "taking the exam by certificate" and "promoting learning by competition", students are encouraged and guided to actively participate in various vocational skills competitions at all levels, national human resource managers, e-commerce teaching assistants, banking, futures, insurance, accounting and other vocational skills assessment certificates, and obtain professional qualifications. The Department of International Business is a newly established department related to modern business on the basis of the successful establishment of business English, foreign affairs management and other majors in our college, in order to realize the optimization and adjustment of professional discipline structure, find differentiated advantages, strengthen connotation construction and explore the characteristics of talent training. There are three majors: business English, foreign affairs management and international trade practice. The public English teaching and research section is co-located with the international exchange center of the secondary institution of our college, and is responsible for the construction, management and coordination of Chinese-foreign cooperative education. There are 53 teachers and 2300 students. The International Business Department adheres to the talent cultivation concept of "ability-based and employment-oriented", and is committed to cultivating high-quality applied international business service and management talents who master systematic international business theoretical knowledge and business rules, have strong foreign language application ability and can directly participate in international competition and cooperation.
Based on connotation construction, the Department of International Business focuses on curriculum construction and specialty construction, and strives to explore school-enterprise cooperation and the combination of production and learning. City-level excellent courses 1 door, three college-level excellent courses, two provincial-level key textbooks are being compiled, and more than 60 provincial, municipal and college-level topics have been completed or are under construction. There are five majors (including professional direction) in this college, among which computer art design is the key major in colleges and universities in the city, with three professional directions. There are currently 1200 students.
The "Art Design and Media Training Base" of the Institute is a demonstration training base in the city, with four training platforms, namely, Art Design Training Center, Digital Media Training Center, Crazy Bird's Nest Design Research Center and Works Exhibition Center, and five advanced training places, such as print advertising design training room, printing process design training room, paperless animation training room, cluster rendering training room and post-editing training room.
