Self-operated business of futures companies
Proprietary business refers to the behavior of futures companies to conduct futures trading with their own funds.

Before 1999, futures companies were allowed to carry out self-operated business, but after the implementation of the Interim Regulations on the Administration of Futures Trading, self-operated business was prohibited and they could only do brokerage business (agency business) for customers.

Members who are not futures companies can only engage in self-management, not brokerage business.
