China Securities Regulatory Commission is an institution directly under the State Council, which is authorized by laws and regulations and the State Council to conduct unified supervision and management of the national securities and futures market, that is, the competent department of the national securities and futures market, to maintain the order of the securities and futures market and ensure its legal operation. The State Council stipulated in the Regulations on the Administration of Futures Trading that "China Securities Regulatory Commission shall exercise centralized and unified supervision and management over the futures market".
