CFA exam content:
CFA Institute regularly conducts career analysis of global chartered financial analysts to determine whether the investment knowledge system and skills in the course are important in the work practice of chartered financial analysts. The examinee's KnowledgeTM text mainly consists of four parts: moral and professional ethics standards, investment tools (including quantitative analysis methods, economics, financial statement analysis and corporate finance), asset valuation (including equity securities products, fixed income products, financial derivatives and other investment products), portfolio management and investment performance report.
CFA Level 1 exam focuses on the tools of investment evaluation and management, and also includes the introduction of asset evaluation and portfolio management skills. The first-level exam (1 level) is a multiple-choice question, with 240 questions in total in each volume 120 questions;
CFA Level 2 exam focuses on the application of asset valuation and investment tools (including economics, financial statement analysis and quantitative analysis methods). The second-level examination adopts the form of multiple-choice questions, with 60 questions in each volume, totaling 120 questions;
The content of CFA Level 3 exam is a comprehensive summary of the first two groups. The form of Level 3 exam is divided into two parts, the morning part includes short answer questions and calculation questions, and the afternoon part is consistent with the second form of 10 item set, with 6 small questions each, totaling 60 questions;
The registration time for each level of CFA exam is divided into three stages, because CFA Association encourages candidates to register early and review early, and the earlier they prepare, the more fully they prepare, in order to pass the exam smoothly.
CFA examination fee is settled in USD and consists of three parts:
Registration fee: you only need to pay it when you register for CFA exam for the first time, which means you don't need to pay it when you register for Level 2 and Level 3 exams.
Registration fee: you need to pay for each application, and the examination fee varies according to the registration time.
Business tax: the first registration exam corresponds to the "new examinee tax", and the candidates who have registered for the exam correspond to the "old examinee tax".
