Persons applying for a practicing certificate must obtain professional qualifications, be employed by securities practitioners, and meet the relevant character and reputation conditions stipulated in Article 10 of the "Measures"; those applying for securities investment consulting business must also Have Chinese nationality, a bachelor's degree or above, and more than two years of securities practice experience; those who apply to engage in securities credit assessment business must have more than two years of securities practice experience and the relevant conditions stipulated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

Apply for a practicing certificate to the Securities Association of China through your institution.

The association shall, within thirty days from the date of receipt of the practice application, file with the China Securities Regulatory Commission and issue a practice certificate. Practice certificates are not classified. Personnel who have obtained a practicing certificate, upon being appointed by the institution, may represent the employing institution to carry out the securities business operated by the institution.

If a person who has obtained a practicing certificate does not practice in the institution for three consecutive years, his or her practicing certificate will be canceled by the association; if he resumes practicing, he shall participate in the practicing training organized by the association and reapply for a practicing certificate.
