Futures contract refers to the standardized contract formulated by the futures exchange, which stipulates to deliver a certain quantity and quality of physical or financial goods at a specific time and place in the future.
Please note that it is a standardized contract at a specific time in the future, so our futures trading is a contract for goods produced in the future rather than actual goods.
Each futures product will form its own main contract according to its own industrial characteristics, which is basically divided into three categories: agricultural products, industrial products and financial futures. The reasons for the formation of the three major contracts are different. Please don't confuse them.
