The waterway maintenance scale of four river sections, including Fujiang to Shazhong waterway, has been improved. The electronic waterway map of the Yangtze River has been connected with the Hanjiang River and Ganjiang River. The compliance rate of waterway maintenance depth of the Yangtze River trunk line is 100%, and the normal rate of navigation AIDS is 100%.
In 2020, the bureau will continue to promote the development of green shipping and help the Yangtze River ecological protection to achieve a turning point. The joint supervision service information system for water pollutants on the Yangtze River trunk line has been completed and put into operation, and has been fully promoted in the ports of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, forming a new pattern of digital supervision, online service and multi-department co-management. The facilities for receiving water pollutants from ships in the ports of the Yangtze River trunk line have been fully covered, and 8 comprehensive water service areas, 12 tank washing stations and more than 30 pollutant transfer stations in the Yangtze River trunk line have been basically completed; Ecological waterway construction is in full swing; The scale of comprehensive utilization of dredged soil has been continuously expanded, and the pilot projects in Jingzhou, Ezhou and Jiujiang have achieved positive results; The construction and renovation of the Three Gorges Passenger Station has been completed, and the shore power utilization of ships has been included in the integrity evaluation of the Three Gorges Project. A number of new energy ship types such as pure electric and liquefied natural gas power have been developed and put into use.
In addition, our bureau strictly implements the macro-control policies for passenger ships, liquid cargo and dangerous goods ships, and further promotes the standardization of ship types. The average tonnage of cargo ships on the Yangtze River trunk line increased from 1.88 tons last year to 1.96 tons, among which the average tonnage of ships passing through the Three Gorges Lock reached 4,680 tons. The shipping structure of the Yangtze River has been continuously optimized.
