What are the trading methods of bonds?

There are three ways of bond trading, namely, bond spot trading, bond repurchase trading and bond futures trading.

1 Spot transaction of bonds: refers to the transaction in which both parties transfer the ownership of bonds on the same day or the next day at the agreed price.

2 bond repurchase transactions: bond repurchase transactions include buyout repurchase and pledge repurchase. Buy-out repo means selling first and then buying, while pledged repo can be understood as mortgage loan with bonds as pledge. The common bond repurchase transaction is the reverse repurchase of government bonds.

3 bond futures trading: bond futures is a standardized trading contract, and buyers and sellers promise to buy and sell a certain number of certain interest rate-related commodities at an agreed price on a specific date in the future. China's bond futures are mainly treasury bonds futures.
