I have been in America for three days. Now I am writing a blog in English, because there is no Chinese input system in the host's home computer. The first day was long. We left Beijing airport at 16:05 pm. After about 1 1 hour, we arrived at SFO. We plan to arrive in Seattle at 6:30 pm. But the plane was delayed for seven hours, so we had to stay at the airport. When we arrived in Seattle, it was already 7 o'clock in the morning. My father is waiting for me in the center of town. My house is not far from the city center. We held a welcome party that night. We had a good time. We visited Boeing, which is really a big company! We visited Boeing 787. I think it's really a beautiful plane! It is not heavy at all, only three boys can lift one-eighth of it. Then we visited the Boeing factory. There are no photos and telephones, and many workers are working.

At noon, I ate McDonald's. McDonald's in the United States is different from McDonald's in China. I can refill water for free, but not in China.

I went shopping in the afternoon. I spent about 1 19 dollars on two pairs of shoes. I had a good time there.

Billy and his family

Billy is my friend, the son of a host family. He 12 years old, loves to make breakfast. He likes playing basketball, baseball and football. He goes to school all day and always wears his basketball shirt.

His father's name is Li, and he also likes these three sports. He is very friendly to me. He has to get up before five o'clock every day because he has to go to work early. He likes chicken very much.

Billy's mother works in a bank called Darcy. She is a good cook, but she can't compare with Billy's father.

There are four dogs, a bird and three cars in his family. The dogs here are very cute. One of them is Max, a black dog. It is very naughty. All the other dogs are quiet and lovely. The bird is kept in a cage all day. I don't think it is free. These three cars run very fast. Darcy drives us to school every day.
