Terminal is a proper term in the network. It is relative to the network node. The so-called network nodes refer to routers or switches. In other words, the terminal is connected to the network node, and there are no other devices connected behind, but the network node can connect many devices. Any device that can access the network can be called a terminal. For example, pc, printer, scanner, intelligent digital camera, mobile phone with Internet access and so on.
