When driving a motor vehicle on the highway during the internship period, the driver shall be accompanied by a driver who has held a corresponding or higher-level driving license for more than three years. Among them, those who drive a small automatic passenger car for disabled people can be accompanied by a driver holding a driver's license for a small automatic passenger car or above.

During the internship period after the approved driving type is added, the above restrictions are not imposed when driving a motor vehicle of the original approved driving type.

For drivers who apply for a city bus or large truck driving license for the first time, they will be deducted more than 6 points but not 12 points during the one-year internship period. After the internship period ends, the computer management system will automatically extend the internship period for one year. If more than 6 points are recorded again during the extended internship period, the computer management system will automatically cancel the motor vehicle driving license.

If the motor vehicle driving license has not been recovered, the file management post will download and print the cancellation information from the computer management system every month, and it will be announced by the traffic management department of the public security organ with reference to the provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 29 of these regulations. The motor vehicle driving license is invalid.

If the computer management system automatically extends the one-year internship period, the vehicle management office shall notify the motor vehicle driver through letters, mobile phone text messages, etc. within 30 days from the date of automatic extension of the internship period.
