Social workers apply for the conditions are:

1. Obtained high school or technical secondary school education, obtained the professional level certificate of assistant social worker, and engaged in social work for 6 years.

2. Obtain a college degree or above in social work and have been engaged in social work for 4 years.

3. Obtain a bachelor's degree in social work and have been engaged in social work for 3 years.

4. Get a master's degree in social work and engage in social work 1 year.

5. Get a doctorate in social work.

Career profile

There are more than 200 colleges and universities in China offering social work majors, and the number of social workers trained each year is about 1 10,000.
