Electrolytic aluminum is aluminum obtained by electrolysis. Modern electrolytic aluminum industry adopts cryolite-alumina molten salt electrolysis method. Melted cryolite is solvent, alumina is solute, carbon is anode, and aluminum liquid is cathode.
