Linzhou Vocational College of Architecture (to be established) is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college invested and built by Henan Huaxin Sunshine Education Technology Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongyuan Huaxin Business Group, and Linzhou Municipal People's Government. The preparatory work for the college has been included in the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" for the establishment of ordinary colleges and universities in Henan Province and reported to the Ministry of Education for the record. At present, the preparatory work for the college is progressing in an orderly manner. It is planned to complete the application for the establishment of the school in 20 19, and realize the first batch of enrollment in autumn 2020. The college is located in the east section of Changchun Avenue in Linzhou City (at the intersection with Xueyuan Road). The campus is planned and constructed in the style of internationalization, high standard, characteristics and "architectural museum", with a total area of 1.279 mu and a total construction area of 660,000 square meters. The first phase of the campus covers an area of 790 mu, with a building area of1810.2 million square meters, which can accommodate more than 5,000 full-time students and will be completed and put into use in 20 19. After the campus is completed, it can accommodate more than 20,000 full-time students. The college takes "inheriting and carrying forward the spirit of Hongqiqu and cultivating talents for construction in the new era" as its own responsibility, adheres to the school-running philosophy of "people-oriented, managing schools according to law, quality-oriented, and characteristics-oriented" and the school-running purpose of public welfare, implements the college (school) president responsibility system under the leadership of the Council, earnestly implements the goal of basing itself on Anyang, facing Henan and radiating the whole country, and actively adapts to the needs of regional economic construction and social development. The orientation of cultivating technical and skilled talents with "solid foundation, strong ability, high quality and quick adaptation" is to set up civil engineering specialty, set up electronic information specialty, equipment manufacturing specialty and finance and trade specialty appropriately, and implement the education of "three-year college graduates" as the main part and "five-year college graduates" as the supplement. The college will actively explore the talent training mode of "school-enterprise cooperation _ work-study combination _ project orientation", give full play to the resource advantages of Linzhou, the hometown of architecture in China, and form professional advantages and characteristics through classroom entry into the construction site, training into enterprises, simulated field entry into the college, co-construction of training bases, synchronization of learning and training, implementation of work-study combination and integration of production and education. During the preparation and connotation upgrading of the college, investors will continue to increase investment to ensure that the building area of the school building reaches 300,000 square meters, the total value of teaching instruments and equipment reaches 70 million yuan, the library has more than 600,000 books, and the number of teachers reaches 1 10,000. By then, the college will become an "architectural museum" campus with distinctive architectural features, tree-lined trees and fragrant flowers, and a high-level applied institution of higher learning with advanced teaching facilities, strong faculty, rich campus culture, high education and teaching quality and distinctive features.
