Can I only apply for one subject in the futures qualification examination?
Futures qualification examination can only apply for one subject. The examination of futures qualification certificate includes three subjects: basic knowledge of futures, futures laws and regulations and futures investment analysis. Among them, "basic knowledge of futures" and "futures laws and regulations" are compulsory subjects. The futures qualification examination does not require you to apply for two subjects at the same time. You can apply for one subject at a time or two subjects at a time.

The single subject is valid for four years. After passing the two exams, you will get a certificate of achievement. The result certificate is valid for a long time and is managed electronically. Candidates can check or print the result certificate on the website of China Futures Association. After obtaining the certificate of achievement, candidates can apply to China Futures Association for qualification if they work in an operating institution engaged in futures business.
