As the third model of Aion series of GAC New Energy, Aion V has opened up a new route in design style, and its futuristic appearance and avant-garde personality can better please the aesthetics of young consumers.

The front face design of Aion V is officially named "Mecha Beast", and the split LED headlights called "Light Claw Electric Eye" are the most brilliant part of the front face and even the whole vehicle design, showing the future mech style, with great personality and impact.

Aion V, like Aion LX, is built on the GEP 2.0 pure electric platform of GAC New Energy. Its length, width and height are 4586× 1920× 1728mm, and its wheelbase is 2830mm, so it is a compact SUV. The waistline on the side of the car body is straight, and the chrome trim strip extends from the headlights to the C-pillar. D-pillar adopts suspended roof design, with large-size wheels, which highlights the sense of movement.

The test drive is equipped with four brands of UC6 series tires, with specifications of 255/45 R20, and the single market price is about 1.400 yuan. The tire configuration is kind enough, and the hub movement is capable, which is in line with the younger positioning.

The interior design follows the family-style design style, which is not as fresh as the appearance. The 2830mm wheelbase provides superior rear space.

According to the official introduction, the usable area of Aion V has reached 66%, which brings the advantage that the wheelbase of 2830mm has been fully utilized. Aion V has plenty of legroom and head space, the seat cushion is soft and comfortable enough, the seat back supports two-stage adjustment, the length of the seat cushion is sufficient, and the rear platform is completely flat. Sitting in the back row will unconsciously "Ge You Lie".

The trunk of Aion V is equipped with an electric tailgate, and the trunk space is affected by the bottom battery. The platform is high, so it is not convenient to carry heavy objects. Dynamic experience

Aion V is equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motor, with maximum power 135 kW and maximum torque of 350 Nm. Ternary lithium battery pack is manufactured by Contemporary Ampere Technology Co., Ltd. According to different configurations, there are three versions with cruising range of 400km, 530km and 600km.

In terms of suspension structure, Aion V adopts the combination of front McPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension, and adopts the form of front drive and front drive.

Aion V supports the remote parking function of mobile phones, which is quite easy to use in the case of narrow parking spaces, and the success rate and accuracy of parking spaces in actual experience are also quite high.

As a professional photoelectric expert, I will pay more attention to the driving experience of vehicles in different driving modes when I test drive electric vehicles. What I want to vomit here is that if you want to switch driving modes on this Aion V, you can only choose it through the central control screen, and no physical buttons are provided. When overtaking at high speed, it is a bit inconvenient to switch sports modes.

Different from other models of Aion series, Aion S's calibration of energy recovery is closer to that of fuel vehicles. When the switch is released, there is no obvious mopping feeling, just like a fuel truck taxiing with gears.

If you want to save electricity, how do you choose? Aion V's I-Pedal mode is associated with the ultimate energy-saving mode, which means that if you want to drive in single pedal mode, the maximum speed can only reach 90 km/h.

During the test drive, I sat in the back of Aion V for a long time. Although the ride comfort of the seat is quite good, the suspension is not clean enough to filter out the subtle vibration, and the rear passengers will feel that the body is "jumping".

After all, the battery quality of electric vehicles is high. In order to ensure the dynamic stability of the car body, the suspension stroke of Aion V is shorter, the adjustment will be harder, and certain comfort will be sacrificed. When I was sitting in the driver's seat, I found that the fine vibration of the front suspension of Aion V was much better than that of the rear suspension, and the suspension action was more calm, which also gave you a heavy feeling when passing through the speed bump.

In terms of NVH, apart from the obvious road noise in the rear row, the wind noise in the front row is a bit too loud when driving at high speed, and Aion V generally performs well in the quiet inside the car.

As for the L3 automatic assisted driving system that everyone is most concerned about, the manufacturer said that it will provide customers with optional packages during the year. Therefore, the five millimeter-wave radars, 1 smart cameras, four high-definition cameras and 12 ultrasonic radar equipped with this system are still in the futures stage, and the test drive time is tight, so we can't provide you with an experience.

Compared with Aion LX, Aion V has a certain improvement in steering feel, light and easy to use steering force, smaller steering wheel, better directivity, and it is more suitable to make some sharp turns and emergency lane changes. The fly in the ointment is that the problem of turning around still exists.
