Why do futures prices rise over the weekend?
Futures can't be traded on weekends. At present, there is no weekend trading for foreign exchange futures, and the futures trading time is from Monday to Friday. Domestic futures trading is divided into day trading and night trading. The daily trading hours are 9:00- 1 1:00, afternoon 13:30- 15:00, and the night trading hours are 2 1:00- 2:30. That is to say, there is a transaction from 2 1: 00 on Friday to 2:30 the next morning, and there is a transaction before 2:30 on Saturday, so there is a reason for the price increase on weekends.
