Ding Xie is the protagonist of Hong Kong TVB drama "Big Times", played by Adam Cheng. Impulsive, savage, self-righteous, poor and vulgar at first. He has kept in touch with Fang for decades. He is a loyal, kind and popular stockbroker. Because of misunderstanding, Fang robbed Luo, killed Fang, and then fled to Taiwan Province Province to kill again. More than ten years later, he returned to Hong Kong and was arrested. He was sentenced to life imprisonment because of the charges against him by the Zhanbo Fang family.
Later, the third king crab used legal loopholes to help him get out of prison. Ding Xie was released on parole in advance on the grounds of cancer. Despite the frustration of his old lover Luo, his career was smooth sailing, and he was more interested in entering the stock market. Jin Fang's new son Zhanbo Fang, retired drug Lord Zhou Jisheng and retired Chinese detective Long Chengguojie returned to Hong Kong with their confidante Ruanmei and Long Jiwen's daughter, and talked with their sister's friends about secret plans, turning the stock market into a slaughterhouse to kill the enemy.
Role evaluation
Ding Xie is undoubtedly a very successful character. He has a simple mind and doesn't understand technical analysis at all, but he can become a big winner in the stock and futures markets with simple ideas such as all dead except me. The screenwriter consciously gave him a lot of good luck, besides being funny, it was quite Zen. Reminiscent of a book that satirizes the unreliability of traditional economic and technical analysis, "Butterfly Effect Economics", simple-minded people might as well directly hit luck.
People born after 1980s may not be familiar with the great era, but they must have heard of the Ding Crab Effect. Ding Xie is Adam Cheng's role in "The Great Times", a man full of confidence, benevolence and morality. In fact, he is extremely selfish, self-righteous, and at the same time extremely nervous, paranoid and unreasonable. Since then, it has been reported that whenever Adam Cheng's new play is staged, the stock will magically fall, so it is called the Ding Crab Effect.
