1. China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX): It is a national financial futures exchange approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission. CFFEX is guided by market-oriented operation and adopts the organizational form of joint-stock company, and its shareholders include major commercial banks, securities companies, futures companies and other financial institutions. Its main responsibility is to promote the development of financial derivatives market and provide trading and clearing services for financial futures products.
2. Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) is an important futures market for agricultural and sideline products in China and one of the major futures exchanges in the world. DCE is a non-profit organization, which is supervised by China Securities Regulatory Commission. The members of DCE are mainly composed of agricultural products enterprises, futures companies and other financial institutions. Shareholders are mainly regional and represent different stakeholders.
3. Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE): It is the main commodity futures exchange in China and one of the largest futures exchanges in Asia. Similar to DCE, SHFE is a non-profit organization, which is supervised by China Securities Regulatory Commission. Its members include financial institutions such as production and operation enterprises and futures companies, and its shareholders represent different stakeholders.
Generally speaking, the three futures exchanges are different in ownership structure, shareholder background and other organizational forms, but they are all supervised by China Securities Regulatory Commission, and are committed to providing a stable, standardized and fair futures market environment and promoting the healthy development of China futures market.
