outline
Chi Ming, 1923, a native of Dangtu, is the same age as Qiushui. There are only three students in Mr. Lin Sanzhi's life, one is Mr. Li Qiushui, the other is Mr. Chi Ming, and one is dead.
In the art world, there are many paintings of landscapes and flowers, but few paintings of fish, and there is no painting of fish with charm. We saw dozens of "carp pictures" by Chi Ming, and we undoubtedly felt that the world he wrote was unique.
I studied landscape painting with Lin Sanzhi, the "sage of China". Chi Ming studied tirelessly, worked diligently and explored diligently, and won the appreciation and love of "Cao Sheng". He has created a series of works, such as Shan Jutu, Huangshan Mountain Map, Xin 'an autumn scenery and Spring Back to the South of the Yangtze River. These works are rooted in the soil of life, relying on the foundation of China traditional art, getting rid of the rigidity, filth, shortage and frame of the ancients, and emitting fresh and elegant vitality. After reading the works, "Cao Sheng" happily wrote in Chi's works: "Learning late, thinking diligently, and over time, there will be gains;
Chi Ming grew up in Dangtu, a water town in Zeguo, where Guxi River, Shijiu Lake and Qingshan River crisscross. He looks at fish, raises fish, loves fish and has an indissoluble bond with fish. At dusk, he often stops at the river bank to capture the instantaneous dynamics of golden carp jumping out of the water. These energetic spirits, with their colorful diving and swimming, plucked the strings of his love again and again. In the mid-1950s, he abandoned mountains and rivers and devoted himself to creating carp in a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. He "broke into" the works of ancient fish painting masters again and again, tried to figure out the original author's intention and pen and ink techniques, absorbed its essence, analyzed the wisdom of painting fish, and combined with his own creative practice, tried his best. He started with sketches, combined with sketches and meticulous brushwork without bones, and successively created works such as Fishing Season, House Boat and Autumn Harvest, which impressed his peers and made him famous.
The wise Mr. Chi Lao knows that as a painter, his works must have distinctive artistic style and individual language, otherwise it will only be a flash in the pan. Therefore, he is very famous at the World Expo.
Masterpieces chew the foundation of painting history, absorb the essence of ancient and modern times, and turn to multi-teachers, striving to get rid of stale stereotypes. In modeling, he absorbed the skills of perspective and anatomy of western oil paintings, and paid attention to the rendering of modeling and the atmosphere of the whole work. Everything he creates is a sketch. After sketching, carefully draw fish scales and slowly render them, giving carp fresh life with the light and color of western painting, giving people the feeling of "hands are afraid to touch, lest they escape". Thus formed his "water rhyme, fish interest, poetic" personal painting characteristics.
1985 is a year that Chi Ming will always remember. This year, his works were exhibited in Hong Kong at the same time as those of Pan Tianshou and Shilu, masters of Chinese painting whom he admired all his life. This exhibition caused a sensation in Hong Kong painting circles. Master Lin Fengmian also watched the exhibition. He stood in front of Zhang Er's huge "Hundred Fish Map" in Chi Ming and didn't want to leave for a long time. He commented on this work with deep feelings: "It is precisely because it comes from nature and is taken from life that the work is so shocking." Later, when Chi Ming's "Hundred Fish Map" was exhibited in Malaysia, visitors ranging from octogenarians to six-year-old urchins liked this carp map very much. After the exhibition, this work was bought by a famous collector at a high price. With the success of the exhibition, his fame spread like wildfire in Hong Kong, Japan and Southeast Asia, and his works were widely treasured.
His "Nine Carps Map" is ingenious in composition, exquisite in pen, full of fish, lifelike and full of infinite vitality. This painting is a combination of tradition and innovation, a manifestation of the painter's feelings, and a dialogue between painting, home and life.
His "Fish Leaping in Spring" is a spring breeze blowing on the screen, and the grass is blooming on the top; A group of carp are very lively in the water. They gathered in the undulating grass and whispered; Or shallow xiang a person, turn out; Or hold your breath and meditate, motionless; Or stage
His Moonlight at Home in how bright! It is a rare masterpiece. The bright moon, willows, seaweed, moss and spring breeze constitute a beautiful picture, which profoundly expresses the kinship of compatriots on both sides of the strait. This work was later collected by Sun Yat-sen Museum in Taiwan Province Province.
His Spring in the South of the Yangtze River is loved by everyone. When peach blossoms bloom and mandarin fish are fat, the weather is sunny and calm. Under the beautiful and dazzling peach trees, a group of carp embraced and gathered, attracting all the carp that seemed to be playing in the distance. They are attracted by the beauty of the world, and also
Are you intoxicated with human spring scenery? Teacher Lin Sanzhi read the work and praised it again and again: "The fish in the late Ming Dynasty is fat and tender, so you must try it." This shows the extraordinary artistic charm of Chi Ming's works. Even the famous painter Chen Dayu boasted after reading these works: "Chi Ming benefited from nature and took it from life. The more he loves fish, the more alive the fish he paints. "
