What is the core competitiveness of an enterprise and what is the core competitiveness of a futures company? This is an issue that people in the futures industry are actively exploring. The author believes that core competitiveness is the ability of enterprises to integrate various resources, among which innovation is the fundamental guarantee of core competitiveness. Innovation is mainly manifested in three aspects: technological innovation, management innovation and system innovation. Technological innovation is the way to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, management innovation is an important means to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, and system innovation is an important guarantee for the core competitiveness of enterprises. Among them, institutional innovation is the most critical and important.

Below, the author takes Taiyang Futures as an example to discuss relevant aspects.

-make full use of existing resources. The business development of futures companies is subject to the existing laws and regulations, and there are many constraints in business varieties, business scope and business methods. Taiyang Futures has been actively exploring new development models of futures companies. In the past two years, Taiyang actively explored the futures-securities cooperation mode with the Hunan Business Department of Taiyang Securities as the platform, and initially established the business systems of "futures-securities cooperation" and "futures-cash cooperation", which enabled the company to directly participate in the development of institutional customers while developing the futures-securities cooperation market and steadily promoting the development of the traditional market, and opened up a new world among institutional investment groups in the feed industry and cotton and linen industry.
