The purpose of high-carbon soldering iron, which factories mainly need high-carbon soldering iron?
The main uses of high-carbon ferrochrome (including remanufactured ferrochrome) are: (1) as alloying agent for ball steel, tool steel and high-speed steel with high carbon content, to improve the hardenability of steel and increase the wear resistance and hardness of steel; (2) As an additive of cast iron, it can improve the wear resistance and hardness of cast iron, and at the same time make cast iron have good heat resistance; (3) used as chromium-containing raw materials for producing silicon-chromium alloy and medium, low and micro carbon ferrochromium by slag-free method; (4) used as chromium-containing raw material for electrolytic production of metallic chromium; (5) Used as raw material for smelting stainless steel by oxygen blowing.

2, smelting process

The smelting methods of high carbon ferrochromium include blast furnace method, electric furnace method and plasma furnace method. Only special pig iron containing about 30% chromium can be produced by blast furnace. At present, high-carbon ferrochromium with high chromium content is mostly smelted in submerged arc furnace by flux method.

The basic principle of smelting high-carbon ferrochrome by electric furnace method is to reduce chromium and iron oxides in chromite with carbon. The initial temperature of carbon reduction of chromium oxide to produce Cr2C2 is 1373K, the initial temperature of reaction to produce Cr7C3 is 1403K, and the initial temperature of reaction to produce chromium is 1523K, so chromium carbide is obtained when carbon reduces chromium ore, not metallic chromium. The carbon content in ferrochromium depends on the reaction temperature. Carbides with high carbon content are easier to form than carbides with low carbon content.

3. Raw materials for smelting high-carbon ferrochromium

The raw materials for smelting high-carbon ferrochrome are chromite, coke and silica.

Cr2O3≥40%%,Cr2O3/∑FeO≥2.5,s

Coke should contain no less than 84% fixed carbon and no less than 15% ash. S

Silica should contain SiO _ 2 ≥ 97%, Al _ 2O _ 3 ≤1.0%, with good thermal stability, no soil and a particle size of 20 ~ 80mm.

Tianzhu burden co., ltd is a limited liability company that distributes and wholesales ferrosilicon, ferrosilicon-manganese alloy, high-carbon soldering iron and other products. The ferrosilicon, ferrosilicon-manganese alloy and high-carbon soldering iron operated by Yangzhou Tianzhu Charging Co., Ltd. sell well in the consumer market.
